Do you offer tours of Ivy House?
To respect the privacy and comfort of our current residents, Ivy House does not offer in-person tours of the community. However, we’d still love to help you get a feel for your future home! Please reach out to our leasing team for additional photos, information, and answers to any questions you may have about Ivy House.
Do I have to be in a sorority to live at Ivy House?
Not at all! Ivy House is located in the heart of Gainesville’s sorority district, but you do not need to be affiliated with a sorority to live here.
What if I don’t get accepted to the University of Florida?
We understand that plans can change! Ivy House offers a Freshman Contingency Addendum for eligible incoming freshmen. If a future resident has signed a lease with the applicable contingency addendum and is not accepted to the University of Florida, the addendum allows them to terminate their lease in accordance with its terms and requirements.
Can I live with my friends?
Absolutely! If you already know who you’d like to live with, you’ll have the opportunity to request your roommates during the leasing process.
What if I don’t have a roommate?
No worries! We offer roommate matching to help pair residents based on lifestyle, school habits, personality, and preferences.
Are leases individual?
Yes! Each resident signs an individual lease for her bedroom, so you aren’t financially responsible for your roommate’s rent.
What is included in rent?
All utilities, Wi-Fi, furniture, pest control, and trash
How close is Ivy House to the University of Florida?
VERY close! Ivy House is located just 0.27 miles from UF, putting residents only about a 5-minute walk from campus. Whether you're headed to class, Sorority Row, or spending the day on campus, you can leave the car behind and walk!
Is parking available?
Yes! Parking is available at Ivy House in limited quantities for an additional cost. Covered garage spaces are $425/month and uncovered parking is $400/month. Because spaces are limited, we recommend securing parking early if you plan to bring a vehicle.
Is Ivy House furnished?
Yes! Each bedroom at Ivy House comes furnished with a bed frame, mattress, box spring (if necessary), desk, and desk chair, giving you the essentials you need to make your new space feel like home. Furniture can be removed for an additional fee.
How do residents submit maintenance requests?
Everything is centralized through our easy-to-use Resident Portal! Residents can conveniently submit maintenance and service requests, pay rent, view their account, and much more
What amenities does Ivy House offer?
Ivy House is designed to make student living comfortable, convenient, and connected! Residents enjoy unlimited black-and-white printing through PrintWithMe, a beautiful sundeck and outdoor lounge space, dedicated study areas, a TV lounge with a Smart TV, a gourmet community kitchen, package lockers with electronic delivery notifications, and 24/7 emergency maintenance.
How do residents access Ivy House and their rooms?
Ivy House offers convenient, modern access throughout the community! Residents receive a key fob for building access, and each bedroom is equipped with a unique door code for easy, key-free access to their individual room. For even more convenience, keyless building entry is also available for an additional cost, allowing residents another easy way to access the community.
